Budini TIre Management System (BTMS)

The Budini Tire Management System is a highly specialized, professional, full tire management system. It tracks a tire from the moment of acquisition to scrapping and every step in between. It will report on everything from tire performance, cost-per-mile, ranks best performers for product/application, inventory needs, and much more. This system requires tires to be uniquely identified (branding, rubberized labels, radio chips or a combination of these methods). Budini TMS easily integrates with other fleet systems.

Budini TMS is available in different editions, and levels:

Single-Fleet - for trucking companies, bus companies and other companies that have a single fleet of vehicles (any size)
Truck Center - for companies that outsource tire management and services to many small and medium fleets
Mining / OTR - for mining companies or companies that use OTR tires, that also use TMPH or TKPH as basis for performance.
Mileage Contracts - for companies that outsource tires in other companies and bill per mile, kilometer or hour.

  • Customizable parameters - A series of parameters act as constant auditors in your database, allowing your company to really adapt the tire management system to your operational requirements, such as recommended pressures for different vehicle types, pull points based on different axle types and much more.
  • Automated Database Warnings - according to the level of management, the Budini TMS has the ability to warn you of irregularities about your data.  This helps to maintain data integrity, accuracy and ensure that the data flow is occurring as programmed.  There are many different automated warnings, such as tires that were sent for retreading or repairs and haven't returned, or tires that are in inventory too long.

Administrative Features

  • Accounting Records - Much much more than a simple report on how much was spent over a period of time.  Budini TMS accounts for items such as excessive tire wear due to low air pressure, excessive tire wear due to mismatches and dozens of other items that give you an insight on how to reduce costs.

Data Collection Features

  • Electronic Tire Inspection Tools - Integrates with the AUDIT Electronic Tire Inspection Tools and Budini Survey PDA to speed up and accurately inspect tires on vehicle, eliminating the data entry process.
  • Smart Tire Inspection Forms - Print out tire inspection forms straight from the system: Avoids wasting time collecting unnecessary data and provides a way to check the data in the system against the tires that are actually on vehicle.
  • Tire Management Process Forms - If your manual data collection forms do not meet the information requirements of the Budini TMS, we will supply you with all the necessary forms or help you adapt your forms to the information requirements of the program.  This helps to minimize changes in processes already in use by your company.  Note: Almost all data can be collected using electronic devices and avoid the need of paper forms.
  • Electronic Odometer - Import mileage records from external systems to have one consistent mileage source
  • Electronic Fuel Records - Import fuel records from external systems and analyze them in a completely new way!

Customized Features, just for you!

  • Customized Reports - If for any reason our reports don't give you all the information you require, and that information exists, we'll build a new report for you.  If that same report can be useful to other customers, we'll build it for free!
  • Integration with Other Systems - Budini TMS can integrate with other systems, as long as there is compatibility in the data and willingness from the other party. 
  • Auditor Reports - Periodic reports issued by Budini with a third party point of view of your data.
  • Consultant - An interpreter of the Auditor Reports specifically trained to point out the most important facts found on the Auditor reports of your company from a purely professional and unbiased tire manager's point of view, with suggestions on actions to be taken.

Software and Hardware Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008
  • Intel Pentinum 4, AMD Athlon XP (equivalent) or higher processor recommended
  • 2 GB of RAM (4GB recommended depending on number of vehicles)
  • 1 GB of Available disk space for program installation
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • Color monitor with at least 1024 x 768 resolution.
  • HP Compatible Color printer
NOTE: It is a good idea to always have at least 10GB of free HD space at all times.  Less than 10GB free HD space may cause Windows to have unpredictable behavior which could result in data loss and data corruption.
