Budini Survey PDA

Through the use of a Windows Mobile device, typically known as Pocket PC, Budini Survey PDA was designed for two types of tire inspections:

  • On-Vehicle Tire Inspection (vehicle id, wheel position, make, model, size, number of retreads, retread design, air pressure and tread depths (commonly known as fleet checks).
  • Scrap (Out of Service) tire Inspection

During the data collection process, the Budini Survey PDA application guides the user through the entire data collection process to ensure all necessary information is collected.  The data collection process built-in the application helps to reduce inspection time by automatically populating certain fields and providing consistency at the same time.

After each inspection the data is electronically transferred to the originating program to be processed and issue reports. With the utilization of the Budini Survey PDA there is no need to use paper to inspect tires, avoiding possible data entry errors when typing the inspection into the system.  There are gains in the reduction of time, more consistency, precision and reliability of the data collected and more productivity, as reports can be issued minutes later.

Simple 3 step work process

  1. Download the data you'll need for the inspection
  2. Inspect tires (On-Vehicle and/or Scrapped Tires)
  3. Upload data and Process Reports

Integration with other Budini applications

Budini Survey PDA can be used with the following applications:

Optional data collection hardware

Maximize your data collection effort when using the Budini Survey PDA with Pneulogic's bluetooth tire probe shown on the images above.  This device will take the tread depths and air pressure readings and use wireless Bluetooth technology to place the data into the Budini Survey PDA application, providing even more speed and accuracy to the tire inspection process.

If there are any additional questions or you wish to see a demonstration of any of these features just contact us and we'll schedule a online presentation using WebEx.
